Back to Mike’s message….

Dear RCSA Member,

Just a quick note from myself and your RCSA Exec Team to wish you all a Happy Christmas and a fun and successful 2024! We hope to have the opportunity to meet you at some point in the near future at one of our RCSA events. In fact we already have an event for you to try and fit into your busy pre-Christmas schedule. On Wednesday 13th December we will be hosting a joint RCSA and RCSU bar evening in the legendary Union Bar (which will be open for a change!) The event will commence at 7pm and has the added incentive of free drink tokens for the first 50 attendees. Details are on the RCSA website – please come along for a fun night out and catch up with old friends as well as meeting some new ones.

While you have your diaries out please also add in an additional date from the New Year. Our AGM will be held on Tuesday 6th February at the College. You are welcome to attend and join what will be the first AGM for our new Executive Team and also our first AGM for a few years, following Covid!

We are also currently planning an RCSA dinner for Spring 2024. There are not more details yet but again please watch out on the RCSA website for announcements.

Before I sign off can I make a plea to all members to ensure that their membership direct debits are up to date. You can check all the details on the website – please also feel free to contact our RCSA Secretary Oscar Farell at secretary@rcsa.org.uk if you have questions. We have had a busy year in 2023, with a lot more activity and therefore a lot more spend and it is important to keep our funding and membership moving forward!

Finally once again I would like to wish you Merry Christmas and I hope to see you at our upcoming Bar Night or indeed one of our social events in 2024.

Yours sincerely and kind regards

Mike Munroe
RCSA President
